Broccoli loves fall's cooler weather

Broccoli loves fall’s cooler weather

Even if you’ve lost some of your gardening mojo during the summer, fall is the perfect time to renew your enthusiasm and grow many kinds of fresh, organic veggies. Many crops, including broccoli, lettuce, cabbage, kale and others, do well in cooler weather, and now is the time to start planting your fall garden. Rachel will discuss:

  • crops suitable for a fall garden and when to plant them
  • steps to prepare soil between crops
  • protecting plants from bugs and cold temps
  • cleaning up and feeding your garden beds when winter strikes

The class is hosted by our dear friends at The GardenWorks Project. Please visit this link to RSVP for this FREE class.
