Our online pre-orders are over, but not to worry! We’ll have a WIDE variety of seedlings available for purchase at the next three Saturday in-person sales events.
Come out to Elmhurst (235 S. Kenilworth) this Saturday, May 2nd from 10 am – 1pm to peruse our selection of seedlings ready to plant (see list below). Food-scrap-amended compost will be available for purchase (please bring your own container). The event will feature other local organizations, so bring the family and friends!
- Tomatoes (including heirlooms)
- Peppers (sweet and hot)
- Cucumbers (slicing and pickling)
- Summer squash and zucchini
- Ground cherries
- Kale – 3 varieties
- Swiss chard
- Brussels sprouts (while supplies last)
- Herbs, including cilantro, garlic chives, parsley, sage, thyme, and basil (while supplies last)
Please note all of our seedlings (purchased and available for sale) have been hardened off. This means they are acclimated to the outdoors and are ready for planting. We recommend leaving the seedlings outside until you plant and giving them adequate water when the soil dries out.
