Celebrate Earth Day -and- Get Compost at Upcoming Sales Events

How will you celebrate Earth Day? Here are just a handful of ways. ___________________________________________________

IMG_5997Join us this Sunday, April 19th from 11 am – 12:30 pm at Fullersburg Nature Center (Oak Brook) for a ‘Design Your Veggie Garden’ class presented by Kim.

Laying out your growing spaces can be a fun puzzle to work out. We can help you optimize your garden to maximize space and yields and minimize crowding. Kim will discuss the various considerations in designing your vegetable garden.

Please call 630-850-8110 to register for this class. The $10 fee per participant helps support Fullersburg’s environmental education fund.

Join us (and many other earth-loving organizations) on Earth Day, Wed., April 22nd at 7 pm at the Lake Ellyn Boathouse for an evening of learning, exploring (the night sky with on-site telescopes), live music and more!
