This past week’s True Cost of Food viewings and food system discussions were lots of fun and informative! A total of 65 folks attended and joined in the conversation about our food system. The goal of the presentations were to get us all thinking of where our food comes from and what is involved in producing and bringing food to us all.
For those who are interested, here’s a link to a PDF version of our handout which includes a shopper’s guide to buying pesticide free produce, a food system resource list, and suggestions for ways you can affect change in the food system. Also, we welcome resources that you’d like to share with us so we can continue to build the resource list.
